Responsibilities:

· Conduct legal research using various resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw

· Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs

· Assist with case preparation and management

· Review and analyze documents and evidence

· Attend court hearings and depositions

· Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies

· Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process

· Assist with negotiations and settlement discussions

Skills:

· Strong legal research skills using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw

· Excellent writing and drafting abilities for legal documents

· Knowledge of litigation procedures and processes

· Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide recommendations

· Third party insurance defense experience who can pick up a file and run with it with minimal supervision.

· Preferably someone with some construction defect experience (not essential)

· Proficiency in legal administrative tasks
