Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, performing patient assessments, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations in the dental office.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients
- Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation using electronic health record systems
- Assist with CAD/CAM technology for fabricating dental restorations
- Specialize in pediatric dentistry, providing gentle and compassionate care to patients
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current certification in dental radiography
- Proficiency in using digital imaging systems for X-rays
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
