SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator to join our team. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling various components using mechanical knowledge and fabrication techniques. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in material forming, heavy equipment operation, welding, and machining.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fabricate and build components according to specifications
• Operate Jigs and fixture to mold and form different shapes of Corian
• Knowledge on how to shape Corian using ovens for rounded edges
• Utilize glue material to join Corian components
• Use sanding machines to give it the finish according to the specifications
• Perform machining tasks to create precise parts
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings prior to fabrication
• Reports to engineering any material or information issues that need to be corrected
• Set up tools and materials for each project
• Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Over 2 years of experience in custom millwork fabrication, modular furniture fabrication combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of Exhibit/Tradeshow, Millwork, Commercial Cabinetry, Metal Work, Finishing
• Extensive training in using woodworking machinery such as: Planer, Jointers, Shapers, Table saws
• Extensive knowledge using different tools, router, miter saw, table saw, power and hand tools
• Familiar with solid woods, veneers, laminates, MDF, solid surfaces (Corian)
• Ability to identify, select and install cabinetry hardware. Rails, pulls, hinges, etc
• Overall strong technical and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Frequently required to stand
• Frequently required to walk
• Required to lift/push/carry items that may exceed 35 pounds
