We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Data Product Management with deep experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to join our team in the Data Products & Platforms organization of Disney Experiences. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization adheres to regulatory requirements, mitigates risks effectively, and maintains robust governance practices across all areas of operation.
You Will:
  • Work with partners from around the organization to understand business needs and translate those into a strategy, roadmap and requirements for deliveries required to exceed GRC requirements efficiently and collaboratively.
  • Be responsible for development, delivery, and ongoing updates to Security Policies and Standards for example, NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, and PCI.
  • Use your deep knowledge of GRC technology concepts and the related vendor product landscape to make recommendations and design contributions, in partnership with the architecture team, to ensure our platforms are secure, compliant, and robust.
  • Hands on leadership of the growing Data Product Management team dedicated to GRC work that will be managing both technical and non-technical resources.
  • Partnering to ensure strategic alignment of information security with business strategy.
  • Be deeply engaged with the architecture and implementation partners of the data platforms, ensuring technology solutions delivered meet our needs, while providing education on GRC to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Act as the deep technical authority on resolution practices, able to speak to capabilities and processes to multiple levels of the organization.
  • Advance data collection strategies and onboarding processes that enable improved resolution while adhering to data privacy requirements.
  • Stay in the known on the product direction for applicable technologies to understand how shifts in the consumer privacy landscape alter the consumer data strategy.
You Have:
  • 10 years of related work experience, including Data Product Management, security architecture, policy, strategy, and policy development.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading security governance, risk, and compliance programs.
  • Possess extraordinary written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service skills.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, both for yourself and for the team while working with many people in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to weigh several, often conflicting constraints and make rapid decisions in a dynamic and quickly-growing company.
  • CISSP, CISM & CRISC are examples of preferred certifications
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education:
  • Master's degree and/or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Washington is $189,256.00 to $253,880.00 per year and in California is $180,646.00 to $242,330.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
