Lead Technical Product Manager
As a Lead Technical Product Manager with Customer Engagement, you will recognize, scope and build strategic solutions across Disney Experience businesses. You will use your knowledge of product management, agile and waterfall methodology, project planning, data, ROI, deep understanding of business domains, and interpersonal skills to develop and prioritize product artifacts (features, user stories, etc.) for development. You will also be a key player in sustainment of the solutions built and purchased. You will be responsible for ensuring that solutions exceed expectations by working closely with business partners and users through measurement of key performance indicators.
JOB SUMMARY:
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of the evolution of our Marketing Tools and Products serving as a subject matter expert on current and desired abilities
  • Be responsible for driving the vision, market strategy, design, implementation, and sustainment of MarTech products with Leadership and working team inclusive of Product, Compliance, Data, Analytics and Measurement
  • Develop and track progress against a product roadmap to build enhancing capabilities over time
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience, demonstrate a clear ROI and drive growth
  • Understand the COE marketing approach and its impact across DPEP businesses
  • Develop new product ideas and data use cases, and advocate for the use of data and advanced analytics inside and outside the organization
  • Compare purchased versus in house solutions including sustainment cost, speed to market and expected product lifecycle
  • Create buy-in for the product vision internally and with key external partners as well as across multiple job levels from entry to executive
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Define and track value streams ensuring product features are delivering on said value streams
  • Understand market needs for the use of MarTech tools, data and reporting
  • Balance commercial, technical, operational, and strategic issues to inform product improvements
  • Manage impediments and problems, resolve issues, and fix broken processes where possible
  • Lead change, release planning, and management efforts for projects with key and impacted stakeholders
  • Be open to feedback from business partners, teams, and peers; willing to give feedback
  • Align with other product managers when needed from an overall product, organization, or Guest perspective
  • Own business/technical partner relationships and represent business goals/solutions, collaborate cross-functionally to arrive at optimal outcomes for both products and customers
Basic qualifications:
  • Possess high levels of ownership, adaptability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to find mutually beneficial solutions for all stakeholders
  • Experienced in all areas of the Product Process (all phases in Strategy, Execution and Sustainment)
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • 5 years Snowflake SQL and 2 years of Python
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities while maximizing value
  • Experienced across a wide array of SDLC practices such as agile, waterfall, and corresponding frameworks
  • Knowledge and experience with data, data science, analytics, and business intelligence
  • Define, quantify, drive, and champion value add product strategies
  • Ability to develop and oversee research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers
  • Develop deep business expertise and provide thought partnership around the use of data to solve problems and drive improvements
  • Ability to perform across multiple phases of development for complex projects, from ideation to deployment
  • Experienced in project management practices, methodologies, and frameworks
  • Passionate about delivering data science and engineering projects and features in a team environment
  • Genuine empathy for the customer and a commitment to delving deep into the challenges they present or experience
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including story-telling, relationship-building, influence and negotiation
  • Proven track record of products managed, launched, or developed (working samples may be asked for during interview process)
  • Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Miro, Product, Board, among others
Required education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR equivalent work experience
