Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our Technical Program Management team. As a Technical Project Manager you’ll be responsible for partnering with Program and Engineering managers who deliver The Walt Disney Company’s world class identity experience. You’ll also function as an interface between Product and other Engineering teams, participating in coordination, alignment, road mapping, and the overall seamless delivery of best-in-class consumer applications.

You have excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of management
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing a roadmap for the team and keeping it in line with the priorities defined by Product
Execute on several deliverables concurrently with remote team members while balancing competing priorities
Facilitate and solidify project processes by creating, managing, and updating documentation
Keep stakeholders informed of day-to-day project statuses, updates, and risks
Cultivate relationships across engineering, product and program teams while serving directly as the end-to-end liaison
Identify solution paths for competing requirements while managing stakeholder preferences
Continually communicate risks to all stakeholders, and facilitate discussions to help remove blockers
Basic Qualifications
3 years experience as a Technical Project Manager managing large scale projects
Demonstrated ability with Agile, Kanban and Waterfall project management
Have technical literacy in order to be able to follow technical discussions and absorb technical documentation
Experience working with product and design and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and engage with engineering teams to drive deliverables forward.
Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Tools experience including Jira, Confluence, Slack, Airtable, Miro and Google suite

The hiring range for this position in California and Washington is $102,500 - $137,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Other
