DISH is Hiring a Procurement Specialist Near Littleton, CO
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for supporting various strategic and operational activities of the Sourcing and Procurement teams. The ideal candidate will be someone who is driven, organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys developing business processes. This role will participate in sourcing/procurement initiatives, program management, and communication with all levels of the organization. They will be responsible for creating, implementing, overseeing, and streamlining procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
In this role, you will:
- Create and manage requisitions for Dish Wireless business units, including PO forms as required
- Lead procurement projects from initiation to execution, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness, while managing stakeholders and maintaining client relations
- Support vendor onboarding, part number setup, purchase requisitions, and delivery tracking
- Develop program plans and reporting metrics to aid strategic and tactical decision-making
- Assist in creating detailed purchase plans for material requirement planning and vendor qualification
- Participate in progress tracking meetings and issue resolution to ensure program timelines are met
- Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices for operational efficiency
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and suppliers/OEMs in wireless network material and equipment
- Knowledge of wireless network infrastructure and industry trends is advantageous
- Basic understanding of ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills in operations and finance
- Proficiency in Google Suite products with excellent written and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities, skilled problem solver, and a passion for team collaboration
