Dish Society is Hiring a Cashier Near Austin, TX

Get ready to experience the most mouthwatering and jaw-dropping concept to ever hit Austin! We need a few hospitality heroes to round out our team and you might just be it!

We’re hiring for all positions: Front of House (FOH) Service members, cashiers, baristas, bartenders, bussers, dishwashers, line cooks, prep cooks, and all management positions.

Imagine a hip and happening joint, fresh as the morning dew, serving up culinary awesomeness on a silver platter. We're talking about the finest, locally-sourced ingredients, spun into modern twists of your all-time favorite dishes. Morning, noon, or night - we've got you covered with breakfast, lunch, supper, and our legendary brunch!

So who is Dish Society??

By now, you must've heard the tales of our smashing success in Houston. The city couldn't get enough of us, and we scooped up accolades faster than you can down a mimosa flight! From being crowned one of Houston's top 25 restaurants by the Houston Press to snagging the title of the best brunch in all of Texas by USA Today - we nailed it! And guess what? The roots of our genius idea come straight from the minds of Austinites and UT alumni. So, y'all know we're ready to rock Austin, starting with our epic first location in the bustling Mueller development. But hold onto your cowboy hats; we're aiming for total domination, sweeping across Texas and beyond, to every corner of this great nation!

We are what the industry folks refer to as “fine fast casual.” WTF does that even mean? Well, it means we’re a counter service restaurant that delivers a more elevated dining experience not commonly found in other counter service restaurants. This ain’t chipotle OK. We are open all day for breakfast lunch and dinner. Guests order from the counter and get their own drinks and sit wherever they want or can sit at the bar and receive full service. We have a full bar serving hand crafted cocktails, local beer, and a tidy wine list. Our best-in-class coffee program rivals the best coffee shops in town. Our chef-driven menu changes seasonally and is composed of the finest and freshest locally sourced ingredients around.

Front of House:

Because we’re counter service, we don’t have servers, we have rockstar front of house team members that do a little bit of everything: take orders, schmooze with guests, run food, make drinks, get the pups on the patio some fresh water and a treat, maybe drop off a catering order, etc. These team members start at a guaranteed $18/hr wage and can rake in even more ($20-$25/hr) with tips.

Back of House:

We’re looking for folks who can jump between stations making salads, sandwiches, medium rare salmon, egg white omelettes, pancakes, and a perfectly cooked chicken breast. Maybe it’s one or two of those things, maybe it’s all! Bring it! You get to work with locally sourced, fresh, scratch-made ingredients you can be proud to prepare and serve with a seasonally changing menu to keep it interesting. Assuming you can rock out during Sunday brunch with us, you can make between $18-$25/hr.

Enough about us - let's talk about YOU! We're on the hunt for extraordinary folks who live and breathe our core values (pride, hospitality, growth, and family spirit). People who can serve up exceptional experiences to our guests and their fellow team members with flair and finesse.

Listen, we're not here to hire just anyone looking for a J-O-B. We want those fierce souls who are itching for a wild ride, screaming from the rooftops that they NEED to be a part of this fabulous adventure! This ain't just any job; it's a ticket to an extraordinary career with perks that'll make your friends drool with envy!

Are you passionate about sustainability, local sourcing, and community involvement? Are you a team player with a magnetic attitude and a work ethic that's pure gold? Are you a go-getter, a dreamer, a hospitality wizard with a passion for success and scrumptious food?

If you're fist-pumping and yelling "hell yeah!" at the screen, then we absolutely need to chat, like, yesterday!

Picture this: you, standing tall on the ground floor of an epic journey into the extraordinary! We want to know what makes you tick - your passions, your quirks, and your professional magic. Whether you're a Kung Fu movie buff or a weekend warrior mastering mid-century furniture refurbishing, we're all ears!

So, are you ready for the most thrilling, taste bud-tingling adventure of your career? If so, don't hold back - drop us a line, and let's make magic happen!

Cheers and foodie high-fives, amigos!
