Store Manager – Clifton Park

We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Store Manager at our music store specializing in band and orchestra instruments, alongside guitars. This role requires an individual who is self-motivated and capable of working independently. The ideal candidate should demonstrate confidence in their ability to handle tasks autonomously and thrive in a solo work environment. The job entails a diverse array of responsibilities, including customer service, store management, and operational coordination.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, purchases, and product recommendations.

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.

- Coordinate with the lesson studio and repair shop to ensure seamless service delivery.

- Oversee inventory management and replenishment, ensuring adequate stock levels.

- Supervise and support the repair technician, the sole other employee at this location.

- Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the customer experience

- Work in tandem with the JKM management team.

- Coordinating instrument repairs, returns, and exchanges.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within the music industry.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for music.

- Excellent organizational abilities with the capability to multitask effectively.

- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday during regular business hours.

- Familiarity with software such as the Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and POS systems

- Strong knowledge of band and orchestra instruments, including their different types, brands, and applications.
