Job Summary The job entails leading the development and implementation of Solar’s products and services for the datacenter market, contributing to the company's strategic growth objectives. Key responsibilities include market analysis, market introduction, brand and solution awareness, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Nature and Scope: This position centers around establishing external relationships, via industry conferences, customer meetings, and potentially cold calling. The candidate will also aid in developing internal awareness of market needs, and identifying additional growth opportunities. The position requires coordination across internal departments like Marketing, Sales, and Engineering and will report to the Market Development Manager for Power Generation. Principal Accountabilities: Tasks include evaluating market opportunities, establishing external contacts, presenting at conferences, developing commercialization plans, assisting the definition of product specifications, developing internal tools to assist sales, and supporting proposal efforts. The role also involves reporting progress to senior management and supporting sales initiatives. Basic Qualifications (Minimum): Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience. Have a minimum 5 years of knowledge in on-site or utility scale Power Generation design, construction, or management. Excellent writing and oral communication skills required for preparation and presentation of well written documentation Business acumen and a strong desire for customer facing experience . Strong leadership skills to drive account development Travel requirement of 40-70%, primarily in US and Canada and occasionally international. Top Candidates Have (Preferred): Have a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting datacenter design, construction, or operations Have a minimum of 3 years in project sales or marketing in the power sector Ability to connect cross culturally and functionally, to lead others in customer relations Compensation & Benefits: Base salary for this role ranges from $123,360.00 to $ 185,040.00 Actual salary will be based on experience.
