JOB DESCRIPTION:
This job is responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to the customer experience. Key responsibilities include utilizing a variety of systems such as Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other relational data bases to provide analytical support on strategies, ensure goals are met, and propose policy and procedural changes within segmentation structures to produce optimal results. Job expectations include evaluating data to assess potential fraud risk and create mitigation strategies.
Line of Business Job Description:
Analyst role supporting Anti-Money Laundering Operations, which is a highly regulated business function within the bank. Responsible for performing management and regulatory reporting. Utilizes a variety of systems including, but not limited to Excel, Access, Visual Basic, SAS at an intermediary level. Provides analytical support on various strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of performance reports and updates for senior management. May utilize established databases to gather data and will need be very effective creating executive summaries. Duties include the regular use of discretion and independent judgment. 5 years' experience preferred.
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong technical skills to provide the business with analyzing metrics that drive the business.
  • Candidate should currently be proficient with SQL and/or SAS as responsibilities will include building, managing, and improving workflows thru the application.
  • Knowledge of Tableau and ability to create tables
  • The candidate will be responsible for performance management analysis and developing SharePoint sites to provide the business partners an efficient way to manage workflows.
  • Strong collaboration skills are required to partner with the business to determine optimal solutions for process workflows.
  • Candidate responsibilities will include analysis of various metrics to advise the business leaders with new ideas on driving business results.

  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
