Consumer Director Services is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to add to our team!

Essential tasks:

• Accepts or assists and/or processes including inquiries, referrals, questions, and complaints or concerns directed at Customer Service.
• Coordinates services with affected offices and departments as required by process.
• Verifies client payor and eligibility for services and enters new client information into agency data base.
• Verifies names and addresses of potential clients; maintains referral log of admitted and non-admitted clients.
• Documents any delays in client/patient’s treatment or services and notifies the appropriate staff member(s), physician, patient, and/or referral source as required by process.
• Maintain good communication between all departments.
• Cross-train with other members of the department.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two years of related work health care setting experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Able to work independently.
• Work with a team to accomplish goals and objectives.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Skills testing will be administered for Excel along with 10-key and must be able to type 35 wpm with 80% accuracy.
