Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Leading and coaching the Culinary team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results.
  • Producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner.
  • Supervising the hourly kitchen employees and monitoring food: production, ordering, cost, quality and consistency on a daily basis.
  • Ensuring proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment.
  • Assisting with leading department meetings, pre-shifts, and employee trainings.
  • Assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
  • Assisting with monitoring payroll costs, overtime, employee attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications
  • Requires refined communication skills and strong leadership skills.
  • 3 years of previous kitchen experience (Intermediate or Advanced preferred)
  • Culinary degree or related kitchen experience is preferred.
  • Candidates should be able to perform intermediate and advanced cooking.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must exhibit a positive attitude and have a passion for teamwork.
