Job Description & Responsibilities:

Registered Camp Nurses work in our recently constructed, air-conditioned Medical Center that is staffed 7 days a week. Our ideal candidates will be able to provide a combination of first aid and school nursing. You will have the opportunity to participate in camp activities and events…..and enjoy the camp experience!

Camp Nurse Responsibilities

• First aid for minor injuries and caring for sick/injured campers and staff
• Ensuring the health and safety of campers and staff
• Daily sick call
• Communicating specific camper health needs
• Communicating with the medical director & camp director

Camp Nurse Desired Experience/Requirements

• LPN
• BLS preferred, CPR cert.
• One Year of nursing experience
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
• Ability to explain treatments and conditions to children of all ages
• Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
