This is a crisis counselor position and we do need someone right away. Who can do a rotating shift

**Overview:**

Before you apply note that you must have a current unrestricted license issued by Arizona board of behavioral health examiners LCSWLMSWLPC or LC or LA MFT or LMFT documented postmasters experience for two years, including experience within the past 24 months, providing counseling services or equivalent Comply with training and supervision requirements for 90 days of employment must maintain a fingerprint clearance card. A crisis counselor provides a clinically crisis assessment to clients who are in crisis at a hospital or office setting.

Ours will include 312 hour week one Sunday, Monday Tuesday rotating week two Monday Tuesday Wednesday 3 PM to 3 AM or 4 PM to 4 AM. We can also accept 10 hour shifts Sunday Monday, Tuesday Wednesday 5 PM to 3 AM.

We are seeking a dedicated Crisis Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support and guidance to individuals experiencing crises. This role requires a compassionate individual with expertise in clinical counseling and behavioral health.

**Duties:**

- Conduct crisis assessments and provide immediate intervention

- Offer counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals in distress

- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to assist clients

- Work closely with individuals on the autism spectrum to address their unique needs

- Implement behavioral therapy strategies to manage crisis situations effectively

- Provide patient care and support in a compassionate and empathetic manner

- Utilize motivational interviewing to inspire positive change in clients

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience in clinical counseling and crisis intervention

- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation

- Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices and techniques

- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred

- Proficiency in psychotherapy methods and patient care

- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
