St. Leo School in Leominster, Massachusetts, is hiring a classroom teacher for grade 5. Classroom teachers are responsible for supervising, educating and supporting students to help them accomplish learning benchmarks. Their duties include planning lessons that target specific skills and concepts, managing classroom behavior to keep all students engaged in the lesson and providing individual support and feedback for their students.In addition: -Maintains complete and accurate records, by law, school/district policy, and administrative regulations.-Maintains open, pro-active communication with parents and guardians.-Participates in on-going professional development including mandatory in-service PD.-Participates cooperatively and collaboratively with administration, faculty, and staff.-Active participation in supervisory duties such as drop-off, lunch, recess, dismissal.Please submit resume and letters of recommendation/references to nancy.pierce@st-leoschool.org.
