Diocese of Arlington Educ Office is Hiring a Science Teacher Near Stafford, VA

Saint Rita School in Alexandria, Virginia, is a Catholic School in the Classical tradition. We seek thoughtful and joyful Catholic educators to join in our mission of fueling curiosity, forming character, and saving souls! We are a small and close knit community (one class per grade) with a highly educated, motivated, and collaborative faculty. We hope you will join us! We may be seeking a full- or part-time science teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. As a classical school, our teachers have a great deal of freedom in fleshing out the Diocesan curriculum guidelines. In our science program, we emphasize hands-on experiential learning as well as observation and appreciation for the goodness, truth, and beauty of the natural world. Candidates must be practicing Catholics and hold a Bachelor's Degree; some classical experience is ideal. A good rapport with children and strong classroom management is essential, but a teaching license is not required. Interested applicants should send their resume and cover letter to Assistant Principal Mrs. Malia Busekrus at mbusekrus@saintrita-school.org.
