Third grade teachers are responsible for creating lesson plans and providing instruction and assessment for students in 3rd grade, as member of 3rd garde team in a two track Catholic school. Courses taught include Religion, Reading/Language Arts, Science, Math, and Social Studies. Must communicate well with parents and administration. Teachers are responsible for classroom management and safety of students. Practicing Catholic preferred. Must be willing to support SJS mission of “building wisdom and faith through service to God.”
All applicants must meet the certification requirements of the commonwealth of Virginia, or Virginia Catholic Education Association, or working towards certification.
