The Dinosaur Resource Center is a 12,000-square-foot world class museum dedicated to fossils from North America's Cretaceous Period including marine reptiles, pterosaurs and dinosaurs.

Located in the shadow of Pikes Peak -- Woodland Park, Colorado. Only 30 minutes west of Colorado Springs.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Tour Guide to join our team. As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for providing informative and engaging tours to visitors, showcasing the unique features and history of our location. This is a paid position that requires excellent communication skills and a passion for educating others.

Duties:

- Conduct tours of our facility, ensuring an enjoyable and educational experience for visitors

- Provide detailed information about the history and significance of various points of interest

- Engage with visitors, answering questions and providing additional information as needed

- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor throughout the tour

- Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants at all times

- Adhere to established tour schedules and time management guidelines

Skills:

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and engage with diverse audiences

- Strong public speaking abilities to deliver clear and engaging presentations

- Leadership qualities to guide and manage groups during tours

- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus, as it allows for better communication with international visitors

- Exceptional time management skills to ensure tours run smoothly and on schedule

- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for all visitors
