Do you have a passion for living a healthy, vital life? Do you love to prepare traditional foods with the best, organic ingredients? Join our team! We're looking for kitchen line cooks who have the following characteristics:
Kitchen line cooks with 2-3 years experience, who are naturally enthusiastic and love to be in an environment focused on healthy, fermented foods. Our ideal candidates share our love of handcrafted, traditional foods and healthy living. We are looking for candidates who are self-starters, able to take direction with ease and deliver on daily tasks without hesitation. Also, the ability to be a team player, efficient with their time and learn new recipes quickly.
Must Haves:
- Enthusiastic, people person
- Team player
- Proactive and self-directed
- Love of handcrafted, fermented food and local products
- Capable of juggling various tasks with ease, great multi-tasker
- Eager to go above and beyond, no matter the situation
- Proficient kitchen knowledge/line cooking with a minimum of 2-3 years experience
- Must be available to work nights and weekends
- Basic Knowledge of kitchen skills such as how to season food, how to make a vinaigrette, prep and cook food with the
proper technique.
Line cook responsibilities Include:
- Learning the art of fermentation and how we prepare traditional foods
- Keeping the kitchen and line tidy and clean
- Assisting Kitchen Managers with daily kitchen prep and other tasks
- Efficient in organization and cleanliness
- Excellent time management
--Tip pool adds $3.00-$4.00 per hour to base hourly pay
--Must be able to work weekends and evenings
--Major holidays off
