As a Service Dispatcher you will be preparing deliveries to be dispatched, daily routing for drivers and monitoring route progress during multiple dispatch times throughout the day. Manage jobs through a TMS to include dispatching, POD capture, closing orders and billing. Communicate effectively with customer and internal Diligent team members. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensure all customer requirements are meet daily. I.e., delivery time requirements, POD requirements and proper handling of prescription medication.
- Ensure all Diligent internal requirements are meet and SOP ‘s followed.
- Prioritize Calls and Responsibilities
- Scheduling driving routes
- Monitor/track routes and status of drivers
- Answer calls while documenting important information.
- Maintain call logs, records, and data for daily work.
- Create spreadsheets.
- Transfer data from hard copy to digital format
- Search/Investigate information and PODs as required by the customer
- In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for other duties as prescribed by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced Customer Service Skills
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Geographical knowledge of service area and/or map reading skills
- Intermediate Computer Skills – MS Office, Data Entry & Typing Accuracy
- General Knowledge off office equipment – scanner, printer, computer
- Dispatching & Customer Service experience preferred

Schedule: Monday– Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Some overtime may be required.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Dispatching: 2 years (Required)
- Customer service: 2 years (Required)
Work Location: In person (Reports to: On Site Operations Manager)
Ability to commute/relocate: Lowell, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
