Location: Sterling, VA/partial remote

Education: B.S. degree in relevant with at least (4 ) years of IT experience.

Clearance: US Citizens only. Individual must be willing and able to obtain a Top-Secret Security Clearance. CBP SSBI or prior clearance(s) held is preferred but not required.

Qualifications: 

• Work experience with SQL programming is required
• Must have work experience writing advanced SQL Queries for reports and analysis
• Must have experience tuning queries for performance
• Postgres experience and large-scale cloud databases (e.g. Redshift) is a plus
• Programming experience with Python, Java is a plus, especially with object relational mappers and other database access layers

Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
• Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
• Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
