The DigitalBridge Concentrated Alpha Fund (DCAF) is a long/short equity strategy that targets low net and low factor exposures, while pursuing strong risk-adjusted returns and alpha through market cycles within the Global Communications & Cloud Ecosystem. Our focused research process is anchored by insights from DigitalBridge’s private portfolio companies, helping instruct a highly differentiated view of where value is created within our ecosystem.

We are seeking a motivated and talented Summer Associate to join our long/short hedge fund team in Denver, CO. The intern will be responsible for conducting research on publicly traded Communications & Cloud companies, analyzing financial statements and industry trends, building financial models and developing investment ideas. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field, as well as an interest in long/short investing. The internship will provide the opportunity to gain exposure to the world of long/short investing, learn from experienced investment professionals, and make a tangible impact on the investment process.

In addition, Summer Associates will participate in a comprehensive training program throughout the summer spanning topics such as private equity fundamentals, financial analysis and modeling, investor relations and asset management. Summer Associates will be paired with both a junior and senior mentor at the firm, as well as participate in a speaker series hosted by senior DigitalBridge leadership throughout the summer.

The Summer Associate Program concludes with a capstone project in which participants evaluate an investment opportunity individually and present it to an investment committee. The Program offers an opportunity to gain immediate exposure to a world-class network of investment professionals. This position is in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

• Playing a key role in analyzing new investment opportunities in public markets
• Conducting securities analyses (e.g., strategy assessments, market analyses, financial modeling, company valuations, etc.)
• Assisting with the preparation of investment proposals and presentations
• Participating in a training program covering a variety of topics related to digital infrastructure investing

Qualifications

• Strong GPA from an accredited university
• Keen interest in investments and the hedge fund/private equity industry
• Outstanding presentation and data management skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Results-oriented, self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic and superior attention to detail
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively, independently and professionally in a world-class investment organization
• MBA student preferred

The expected compensation for this position is $72 per hour.
