We are seeking a seasoned Senior Analyst to join our hedge fund team, focusing on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public equity investments, with 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a long/short capacity. This position will play a crucial role in generating investment ideas, conducting rigorous financial analysis, and contributing to the overall investment strategy of the fund.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive analyses of TMT sector companies, including financial modeling, valuation, and industry analysis
• Generate actionable long and short investment ideas based on thorough research and analysis
• Collaborate with team members to develop and refine investment theses
• Monitor and analyze relevant market, sector, and individual company developments to inform investment decisions
• Engage with company management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts to gather insights and assess investment opportunities
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the research process and the team’s investment framework
• Prepare and present investment recommendations to the investment team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA designation or MBA is a plus.
• 5-10 years of experience in public equity investing, preferably in a long/short capacity within the TMT sector
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for investing
• Proficiency with Excel, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial research platforms

The compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000 plus bonus for a full-time employee in Denver. The base salary offered will depend on qualifications, market data and internal equity.
