Digital Monitoring Products is Hiring a Training Development Specialist Near Springfield, MO

The Training Development Specialist supports both Instructor-Led and Web-based learner-centered, engaging training programs. The Training Development Specialist has the responsibility for developing E-learning course content, presentations and other course materials used for the training of technicians and installers of DMP products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Communication, preferred
  • Proficient in research, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with E-Learning Course Development including interactive ways to inform and engage learners
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills. High attention to detail required
  • Experience moving a project from concept to implementation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in different stages at one time
  • Experience interviewing Subject Matter Experts (SME)
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills

Responsibilities:

  1. Supports Instructor-Led and Web-based learner-centered, engaging programs for the training of technicians and installers of DMP products by:
    1. Completing effective needs analysis, managing projects, developing and evaluating courses
    2. Develops entry and advanced level courses
    3. Utilizes multimedia technology and authoring tools.
    4. Proofreads and edits own work and work of others to improve quality, readability, consistency, organization and effectiveness
  2. Creates and maintains detailed Course Facilitator’s Guides including training template, agenda, timelines, handouts, PowerPoint presentations, presentation notes, student workbooks, testing materials, meeting room layout, equipment checklist, etc.
  3. Monitors and evaluates current training program for accuracy and effectiveness. Makes recommendations to leadership on areas of improvement.
  4. Keeps up with developments in area of expertise by reading current journals, books and magazine articles.
