As a Software Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for the development and management of DMP’s Software Quality Assurance staff and operations including Compliance, Product/Software testing, and Escalated Customer Issues. You will ensure that DMP Quality Assurance and Testing project obligations are satisfied. This is a role which requires an individual to serve as a QA/Testing leader and manage staff on multiple projects.

• Experience and success leading a team of Software Quality Assurance Technicians.
• Has a reputation for getting results. Has a sense of urgency.
• Successfully completed a DMP Leadership training program.
• High level knowledge of the security industry, DMP products and integrations.
• Full understanding of Software Quality Assurance processes and procedures.
• Ability to set goals and achieve date commitments.
• Works closely with Product/Project Management and Engineering teams to achieve project release deadlines.

Responsibilities:

1. Accomplishes department goals by planning, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
2. Manages DMP Software QA testing activities and schedules.
3. Manages the ECI Process and ensures all ECI’s are resolved within the one week one month timeline.
4. Works with Engineering and QA teams to develop solutions for reducing critical bugs released.
5. Provides timely communication to Director of Technical Services and other leadership as required.
6. Communicates with the SQA team to meet the goals of the organization – big picture versus daily tasks.
7. Provides test timelines to Product/Project Management and ensures those timelines are met.
