DiGioia-Suburban Excavating, LLC. is seeking an experienced Accounting Associate with knowledge of basic accounting principles and solid general office skills to process accounts payable. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits package in a casual office environment.

DiGioia-Suburban Excavating, LLC. is a heavy highway contractor located in North Royalton, Ohio. Our area of work includes private site development, subdivisions, Heavy highway and municipal construction projects. We are Looking for someone with a team first approach, is well organized, and highly motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable
• Enter invoices in Foundations in timely matter.
• Provide accurate and timely accounting support.
• Work with the Controller in the accounting department.
• Balance and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Match packing slips with invoices.
• Coordinates with all levels of personnel to gather, analyze and summarize requested information.
• Maintain accurate files and other documentation in accordance with the generally accepted accounting principles and company policies.
• Work on additional projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience in accounting and/or accounts payable is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, Outlook.
• Experience with Foundations Accounting Software preferred.
• Experience in Construction preferred.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in an office environment.

Preferred: Strong organizational skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excellent interpersonal skills, Computer/Technical literacy, devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity, Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.

Education: High School or better

Pay is commensurate with experience.
