Dig It Torrance, LLC is Hiring a Floor Manager (Full-Time) Near Torrance, CA

**MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS**

Floor managers work alongside the Management Team to ensure shifts run smoothly, staff stay motivated and our systems operate efficiently. All floor managers have the opportunity to work every position and support all staff, creating a safe, welcoming and fun environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities include:

Customer Service

    *Actively ensure all guests receive the high-touch Dig It experience *Perform guest check-ins and record feedback on a regular basis *Form and maintain strong relations with store regulars and members *Respond to customer concerns in real time

On Site Management

    *Participate in regular staff and manager meetings in a leadership capacity *Conduct training modules as assigned, both for new hires and ongoing *Oversee all opening and closing protocols *Ensure staff are following all company guidelines, punching in and out on time and not violating any labor laws or best practices. *Plan and run daily pre-shift meetings in conjunction with AGM and GM *Oversee floor staff and kids in the play area *Ensure drop-off kids are adequately monitored by staff *Ensure staff are overseeing assigned section, operating efficiently and communicating effectively with each other and management *Fill in for both Floor Crew and Cashiers as needed throughout each shift *Work with the GM and AGM to create new systems and improve existing ones *Troubleshoot issues effectively and understand how and when to escalate *Participate in regular staff and manager meetings in a leadership capacity *Conduct training modules as assigned, both for new hires and ongoing *Act as main point of contact for outside vendors when needed

The ideal candidate will be:

    *Strategic and intelligent in thought and approach *Highly responsive, resourceful and solution driven *Open to new ideas with a willingness to learn and teach *Good at reading people and situations and an excellent communicator *Diplomatic, empathetic, and considered in management style *Comfortable in a fast-paced environment - able to stay calm and focused on guest experience while store is running at capacity

The ideal candidate will have:

    *2 years of experience as a client-facing operator *Experience or training in early childhood development or childcare *Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience *Appreciation for community and a desire to bring people together *A passion for the Dig It mission

Full-Time Benefits:

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Tuesdays. Compensation is $21.00 - $23.00/hour.
