For our quickly growing site in Lisle we are looking for a:

Finance Manager

Your contribution to our success:

• You lead monthly & quarterly forecast and annual budget process and reporting requirements
• You support day-to-day accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Inventory
• You prepare monthly account reconciliations and monthly adjusting journal entries such as prepaid insurance and other accruals
• You lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• You prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly/quarterly/year-end close schedule
• You are responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting
• You prepare and present all financial documents to Management Team, Board of Directors and Corporate Headquarters, as necessary
• You obtain & maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting & general ledger structure
• You are responsible for developing & maintaining accounting principles, practices, & procedures to ensure accurate & timely financial statements
• You participate in all internal and external audits
• You perform or support HR related tasks as assigned(e.g., recruiting, onboarding, internal reporting, …)
• You perform cost accounting activities, including valuation of inventory, analysis of manufacturing overhead variances, and creation of manufacturing product costs
• You assist in the calculation of standard rates for parts, labor and overhead
• You perform reconciliation of purchase price variance on materials received, adjust unit costs as required
• You reconcile and investigate WIP job variances
• You assist in the management and coordination of plant financial reporting
• You provide insight and support for monthly results and forecasts
• You identify cost improvement opportunities
• You make recommendations and implement process improvements and controls

You bring with you:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year college or university is highly preferred.
• You have a minimum of three years related experience and/or training.
• You have a strong reputation for ethical decisions and behavior.
• You have a strong technical proficiency with the Microsoft Suite.
• You have experience in Manufacturing and ERP systems. Experience with SAP systems is a plus.
• You have a solid understanding of GAAP.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You have good organizational skills and an eye for detail.
• You have excellent communication skills, written and oral, with the ability to explain complex accounting functions to other team members.
