Job Title: Coordinator Facilities 

Department: Production

Summary: Diamondback Energy is looking for a motivated professional to be a part of our facilities construction team. This role will report to the Facilities Construction Supervisor. The primary focus of this position will be construction support for corrective maintenance and small to medium size capital projects for Diamondback’s Permian area asset base. Critical to the role is understanding upstream oil and gas facility requirements and construction processes. Responsibilities include actively managing facility modification projects and corrective maintenance projects in assets across the Permian Basin as well as working directly with the facility engineering team and production teams to develop the scope and cost estimates for future projects. The Facilities Coordinator will work with multiple parties within the organization (facilities team, facility engineering, operations) and manage multiple projects across the basin simultaneously. Understanding and following corporate policies and industry best practices for design and construction as well as safety and environmental objectives will be required. The position will require time spent at field locations on an as needed basis. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Work with facility engineers and production teams to understand requirements and generate full scope for proposed projects. 
  • Bid projects and develop cost estimates for small to mid-sized capital facility upgrades.
  • Supervises contract roustabout crew. Provides leadership, direction and communicates job requirements to the crew.
  • Work alongside the production foremen, maintenance foremen, production superintendents, and engineering staff to ensure projects are implemented on time and on budget.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all field work is done according to company policies and guidelines.
  • Understands and ensures safe work practices are followed.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with employees and contractors. 
  • Ensure documentation and reporting requirements required by Denbury corporate processes are followed appropriately. 
  • Supervise the implementation of company safety and environmental procedures. 
  • Plan and schedule construction activities and track daily costs 

Required Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of oil and gas experience 
  • Minimum of five (5) years upstream oil and gas facilities construction experience 
  • At least three (3) years in a leadership role
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight 
  • Able to meet and maintain the clean driving insurability standard requirements to drive a company vehicle, which means a driving record that is clear of any of serious traffic violations within the past three (3) years (other driving record requirements may also apply) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Self-starter requiring minimal supervision 
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic computer skills and to learn company-specific applications

  • This position is not eligible for relocation assistance
