Job Title: Automation Analyst Intern
Summary:
 The Automation Analyst Intern will be actively involved in the maintenance and operation of SCADA and communication systems, contributing to system performance improvements, and engaging in SCADA projects. This internship entails collaboration with internal stakeholders, troubleshooting, and gaining hands-on experience in automation systems, communication systems and databases.

 
Internship Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in collection, cleaning, and analysis of data from various sources.
• Collaborate with the SCADA team to develop and implement processes and models for maintenance and operational optimization.
• Participate in the development of real-time data analysis techniques to monitor equipment health and detect anomalies.
• Create effective data visualizations and reports using tools like Spotfire, Axiom.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvements to enhance the SCADA system.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot monitor tags and alarms, providing automation expertise.
• Contribute to building, maintaining, and updating displays/Views required for operations.
• Document work, including code, findings, and processes, contributing to knowledge sharing and project continuity.

Required Qualifications: 

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a similar discipline
• Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be willing to work in Oklahoma City, OK for the duration of the internship. 
• GPA of 3.20 or higher preferred
• Extracurricular achievements or prior work experience is desirable.
