Diamond Vogel is seeking a chemist to join the Architectural Coatings Research and Development Team. Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in the sciences is required (with coursework in chemistry)
• Previous lab experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Displays an inquisitive attitude; shows self-starter capabilities

The position will be given on-the-job training to achieve the following:

• prepare liquid coating samples, perform physical and analytical tests with minimum supervision
• maintain accurate records of test results and observations
• communicate observations and related data both verbally and in written form
