Production/Film Security Officer (Experienced and Licensed)

Diamond Touch Security (DTS) is immediately hiring experienced and licensed security officers in the New York City area for the role of Film Crew/Production Security for a reality T.V. show.

We are seeking officers who are dependable, reliable, flexible, professional, energetic and has a positive attitude. The goal of Film Crew/Production Security is to keep our client(s) locations, cast, crew, visitors, and employees safe and problem-free.

General Requirements

• Preferably have Film Crew/Production Security Officer experience.
• MUST be reliable and dependable.
• MUST maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality.
• Must satisfactorily pass all pre-employment screening.
• Must be a citizen of the United States and be age 21 .
• Must be licensed at time of hire AND have 8hr and 16hr certs.
• Must be professionally dressed (all black attire).

Responsibilities

• Intervene in any situation(s) that may become heated/intense and address unauthorize personnel who try to enter set with out credentials or authorization.
• Provide security support during all production and filming activities.
• Maintain a safe environment at the production office, filming studios and stages, permitted areas and remote locations.
• Ensure that all persons at locations are authorized to be present and control access when necessary. Credential verification.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor, and must remain attentive and proactive while on duty.
• Take responsibility for the tasks assigned to them, while also being vigilant in identifying potential issues and resolving those issues.
• Protect equipment, gear, production, cast, and/or filming locations.
• Work solo or in a team environment. Report to a Supervisor or a Production Security Manager.
• Escort cast/talent if needed.

Skills

• Proven experience as security officer, bouncer or night club personnel.
• Knowledge of general legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense.

Additional Information

• Filming locations vary depending on the scene.
• Most filming takes place in the 5 boroughs.
• There are times officers will be required to work outside the 5 boroughs and a vehicle will be required to report for duty. Officers are responsible for transporting oneself to/from locations.
• There may be overnight shifts in remote locations as part of the job duties.
