We are currently seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our team in our Evanston, IL office.

Job Description :

We are looking for a motivated Recruiter to join our team at Diamond Peak Recruiting. This role is integral to our mission of providing exceptional recruitment services to our clients in the construction industry.

The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and submitting qualified candidates for various open roles. This position is 100% in-office at our Evanston, IL location and focuses exclusively on the candidate side of the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Candidate Sourcing :
  • Utilize various channels, including job boards, databases, social media, internal ATS and professional networks, to source potential candidates.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
  • Candidate Screening :
  • Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit for the role.
  • Evaluate candidates' skills, work history, and career goals to match them with suitable positions.
  • Candidate Submission :
  • Prepare and submit detailed candidate profiles for internal review.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and the internal team.
  • Provide regular updates to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Candidate Relationship Management :
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates to understand their career aspirations and keep them engaged in the recruitment process.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates, including interview preparation and resume feedback.
  • Market Research :
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve recruitment strategies.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the construction industry or a recruitment agency.
  • Strong sourcing and candidate screening skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
