Diamond Peak Gymnastics in Caldwell ID is looking for new team members who want to grow with our company. We are looking for 4 recreational coaches Pay will depend on experience. No experience and love to work with children, we will train you.

Gymnastic coaches work with amateur athletes of all ages. Coaches help children with body awareness, refining body shapes and techniques of gymnastics through skills and drills that will help students succeed in the sport of gymnastics.

The primary job of a coach is to develop gymnastics students through provided written monthly lesson plans and current knowledge of gymnastics drills and skill if any. The coach must observe and spot athletes as they perform on the various apparatus. This will include some physical contact and lifting, especially with children who have little to no strength.

Skills

The coach needs to be able to demonstrate gymnastics skills to your students. You should be able to plan and direct day-to-day operations of the gymnastics program, which include taking attendance, setting up various stations for rotations, and cleaning up after the day is done, etc... Must be outgoing and have a lot of patience as you not only teach gymnastics but also help children to listen, follow directions, as well as follow the given directions, and be responsible for their actions. A good candidate will also be open minded, be able to step out of comfort zones, be willing to learn and grow in the awesome sport of gymnastics.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
