Quality Assurance Technician

Diamond Mowers is seeking a new team member for our Quality Assurance department. A Quality Assurance Technician would report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and would be responsible for ensuring accurate products, product builds and paint finishes are correct prior to shipping.

Key Roles:

• Ensures product operates correctly before shipping by conducting product testing and final inspection.
• Reports to the Quality Manager on how products/processes are working and where there are issues.
• Record final inspection and any non-conformances and coordinate with the proper personnel on any imperfections or defects that may affect quality or affect product from being shipped.

Responsibilities:

• Develops quality assurance plans, identifying critical control points and operator self-inspection checklists. Conducts root cause analysis investigations and implements preventative measures, establishing critical limits monitoring procedures and corrective actions.
• Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance and surveillance audits, investigates warranty claims, collaborates with the Quality Manager/management to develop manufacturing and training methods.
• Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes/products, recalls, and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper lifting techniques; including proper hoist usage, asking for assistance, or any other measure to ensure safe lifting techniques are completed.
• Keeps a neat and clean work environment.

• Strive for an injury free workplace through a “safety first” attitude.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

All other duties are performed as necessary.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of previous experience preferred.
• Experience in quality control preferred.
• Experience with inspection techniques and auditing preferred.

Location and Hours:

Location: 350 E 60th St N

Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm

Days of Shift: Monday-Friday
