Dial, Grimm & Rupert is Hiring a Real Estate Paralegal Near Columbia, SC

Job Summary:

Dial Grimm and Rupert, a full-service law firm serving all of South Carolina is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our growing Columbia team.! As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to Attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and managing transaction files. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little to no supervision. We have a strong teamwork approach and the ideal candidate will work well with others. A minimum of 2 years as a Real Estate Closing Paralegal is required, experience closing for new construction is a plus but not required.

Duties:

- Maintaining communication between Buyers, Sellers, Agents, Lenders or other parties involved to make sure closings are conducted in a timely and professional manner.

- Assist Attorneys in preparing legal documents, including Deeds, POAs and other documents as needed.

- Organize and manage transaction files, ensuring all necessary documents are properly filed and accessible

- Work closely with Title, Pre-Closing and Post-Closing departments

- Collaborate with Attorneys and other paralegals to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks

- Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of prior Real Estate Paralegal experience required

- Experience using SoftPro Select is preferred but not required

- Strong communication skills

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
