Job Description
The position of Sales and Marketing Liaison is responsible for developing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with referring physicians, office personnel, community organizations, health system department leads, and business leaders on behalf of DRI, LLC. Aside from the development and maintenance of those relationships they would also be expected to frequently visit to distribute referral forms, marketing and educational materials, and event notifications. Planning, networking, organizing and executing community outreach events and company-sponsored special projects are the responsibilities of this position. The Sales and Marketing Liaison serves as a vital liaison between our community and our organization by introducing new services, and new locations, conducting service recovery activities and fostering new relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Generate patient referrals and admissions.
· Create, develop, and execute strategies to maximize admissions to grow market share in core business lines in assigned geographic area.
· Develop and implement sales/marketing plan for all company service offerings, consistent with market analysis, reflecting referral source targets, working with external marketing resource.
· Report progress versus goals and census development barriers monthly.
· Identify, nurture and acquire new clients and business opportunities to drive growth and profitability.
· Focus on establishing new business relationships.
· Participate in short and long range planning for the company agency and implements specific measures for referral and patient growth
· Act as single point of contact to any assigned customer base for DRI products & services
· Act as information source from referral sources to Admins and Supervisors in departments to resolve any obstacles preventing patient care.
· Qualification of accounts and opportunities
· Accurately forecasting monthly and quarterly business
· Manage customer/prospect relationship.
· Manage customer/prospect expectations.
· Negotiate with customers/prospects.
· Explain and demonstrate the services and think strategically with the customer.
· Understand your competitive landscape.
· Monitor practice and site-specific trends around volumes.
· Develop long-term customer relationships.
· Implement customer feedback.
· Leverage a sales plan to identify areas of growth.
· Sponsor industry organizations, conferences, and events.
· Develop prospecting lists & networks.
· Have a well-developed process for prospecting determined by trends, capacity and the market.
· Develop a schedule for business development duties.
· Have a solid & workable number of leads coming in consistently.
· Continued development of pipeline, growth of leads & deals

Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field. Or work equivalent
Experience: 3-5 years’medical office experience; marketing or service-oriented background (required)
Knowledge: Consistently model AIDET principles, service excellence and service recovery. Consistently demonstrate commitment to safe practices while abiding by all OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing. Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
Skills: Advanced computer skills such as Email, Microsoft Office Suite products and Abbadox. Effective, professional, diplomatic communication skills are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-starter. Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures. The ability to work under pressure.
Environment and Physical Requirements: Occasional work is completed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and carry parcels, packages, and other items. Must be able to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and stairs. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Moderate to extensive travel within assigned geographical locations. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather.
