DHR Health is Hiring a Marketing /Business Development - FT - Days Near Brownsville, TX

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides secretarial and administrative support services to the Marketing department, including, but not limited to typing/word processing, proofreading, preparing reports, processing correspondence, scheduling meetings, recording at meetings, receiving visitor, maintaining files and conducting special projects as assigned.


POSITION EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License
  • Must be able to be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration, and physicians
  • Prefer hospital experience


JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in a health care setting strongly preferred.
  • Requires strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Requires reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
  • Must present a professional image.
  • Requires working with frequent interruptions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and E-mail systems.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision and values in developing services, standards and practice
  • Maintain files of correspondence, records and other documents.
  • Edit and finalizes correspondence, memos, reports, special projects and related materials for use in the Marketing Department.
  • Provides assistance in the day-to-day duties in the department to include answering the phone, making copies, filing, and preparing correspondence for physicians and their offices.
  • Assist the director and department personnel with preparation of reports, presentations and documentation for Partnership meetings, etc.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality as required and reports any confidentiality breaches to director.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings to include catering needs, room set up, and notices/invitations.
  • Prioritizes and distributes incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Ensures all office equipment is in good working order and keeps inventory of office and marketing supplies.
  • Monitors office expenses to keep with department’s budget.
  • Processes all invoices to ensure timely payment and good standing with suppliers and vendors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, requested or required by the Marketing Department and Director.
