DFW Airport is Hiring an Utilities Maintenance Administrator Near Fort Worth, TX

Job Overview

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in maintenance management? Join our team as a Utilities Maintenance Administrator! Under the direction of the District Energy Plants Manager, you will be responsible for implementing best maintenance management practices using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for the Airport's thermal, water, wastewater, and building automation systems.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing, administering, and maintaining the Maintenance Control program for all utility-related equipment.
  • Maintaining documentation, both electronic and hard copy records and files, ensuring they stay current and available for any request.
  • Assisting in the planning and development of short- and long-range maintenance projects.
  • Managing equipment databases and establishing preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Analyzing completed versus scheduled work and planned versus actual costs to ensure performance and cost of work is being met.
  • Developing, administering, and maintaining the Safety program for the business unit.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in maintenance management, engineering, computer science, or a related area.
  • Three (3) years of experience in process improvement, analysis, project management, or information management including use of a CMMS in a facility maintenance environment.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.

  • Knowledge of asset management information technologies, and ability to recommend changes or improvements to existing processes or systems.
  • Knowledge of general asset management administration theory, principles, and practices.
  • Knowledge of basic auditing and monitoring techniques required to ensure programmatic compliance.
  • Strong time, project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and research related skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, at all levels inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to plan, schedule and administer the work of others.
  • Ability to perform cost/benefit analyses and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and harmonious internal and external working relationships.
  • Ability to work other than assigned shift when required.
