SUMMARYThe Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for understanding, communicating, and executing category priorities. They will oversee the order process of entering, maintaining, and updating purchase orders on the ERP system to match company needs. As well, as managing return orders and discrepancy claims. They will also exchange detailed information with vendors and
logistics/receiving
personnel regarding delivery dates, delivery conditions, and delivery status.
RESPONSIBILITIESExperts in their assigned category and vendor requirements.Align, communicate, and drive category priorities to meet revenue targets.Manage purchase orders, vendors, and delivery information.Control the purchasing process and all the related administrative documents from placing the orders to confirming shipping and vendor invoicing documents are correct.Solve vendor and category discrepancies, damages, and organization of RTV and provide support to team members.Keep all the involved stakeholders informed and propose solutions in case of issues with the POs for the category team.Monitor vendor and purchasing-related KPIs.Propose process improvements and more efficient ways of working.Oversee COGs financial impact by ensuring correct pricing on pro forma/invoices are updated in the ERP system & correct financial charges related to POs are booked correctly.Lead the communication with category and accounts payable related to POs which need to get pre-paid and advise on timing.Advise assortment changes to category and DI as communicated by vendor.Training of new employees.
QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED required.1 year of experience preferred.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics AX a plus).Physical requirements include manual dexterity, ability to communicate orally and in writing, and ability to use a computer.Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 10 lbs.Ability to sit most of the time, walking and standing occasionally.Utilize memory for details, ability to concentrate, ability to understand and process verbal instructions.
