Dewberry is currently seeking an MEP Project Engineer to work with our Southern California design-build team. We are seeking a client focused, passionate, and self-driven individual to support project execution activities associated with construction of MEP and Controls projects. This position will be based out of the Cerritos, CA office but will include project site visits on various construction sites primarily in Southern California.

The MEP Project Engineer position will be responsible for supporting design-build and bid-build programs, client relationships, and internal and external construction resources to support projects. This includes estimating and execution planning for MEP and Controls projects, as well as providing strong MEP and Controls technical support to PMs on their programs. Typical projects may include renovation of existing facility building systems including mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing systems. Projects may also include site civil, tenant improvements and other trades. Projects will typically be for both Public Works and private clients.
With support from the enterprise, the successful candidate will be responsible for client satisfaction, project delivery and technical quality associated with each design-build project.
Experience in managing services through the design-build process from inception, design, construction, and implementation preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.

The projected range for this position is $90,000-$121,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
