Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust and scalable network architectures
- Manage network projects from conception to completion
- Ensure the security and integrity of network infrastructure and data
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance
- Evaluate emerging network technologies and recommend solutions for improvement
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and standard operating procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network engineering
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs, and DNS
- Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN gateways
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark
- CCNP or CCIE certification is strongly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
