Principal Purpose of Job:

The Purchasing and Receiving Supervisor is responsible for receiving, counting, weighing, inspecting, recording, and releasing all goods shipped into the resort to the proper department(s) as well as assisting in restocking retail inventory as time permits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Responsible for Saflok keycard safety; issuing keys to staff, creating master keys, ensuring that keys are deactivated for departed staff and when security updates occur through employment changes amongst staff. 

· Communication to Human Resources when payroll deductions occur for Saflok reissuance. 

· Inspect all goods for damage upon arrival before signing off on delivery.

· Inspect all food items, including produce, meat, seafood, dairy goods, freezer goods, dry goods, etc.

· Store all items in the appropriate location (i.e., Dry Storage, Freezers, Coolers, Retail Storage Closets, etc.)

· Rotate product as needed placing the oldest product in front and the newer product in back and/or old product on top and new product on the bottom (FIFO – First in First Out) in the storage areas listed above.

· Receive all alcoholic beverages in liquor storeroom, confirm delivery with invoice.

· Log any damaged or missing items on vendor credit form (provide copy to delivery personnel, accounting & notify department accordingly) 

· Assist in inventories and organization of freezers, coolers and Retail Storage as needed.

· Assist in updating inventory pricing and lists as needed.

· Assist with group and guest packages - Notify departments of any special deliveries and coordinate delivery. 

· Assist in delivery of products and goods to departments/outlets as needed.

· When applicable, ensure all products are secure under lock and key. 

· Restock the Lodge Gift Shop and as time permits, assist in restocking Zach’s Mercantile snack and cooler locations.

· As time permits, re-order standard items carried in the Lodge Gift Shop and Zach’s Mercantile cooler/snack locations.

· Perform other related duties as may be required by the Director of Finance

Requirements

Personal Attributes and Skills:

  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential paperwork and information.
  • Ability to be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Able to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
  • Be flexible to the needs of the department and the Ranch.
  • Exhibit high energy and enthusiasm while promoting the resort.

Education/Experience: 

  • High School degree or GED.
  • Previous experience in shipping & receiving
  • Previous experience in a food & beverage establishment a plus

Special Skills/Equipment/Requirements: 

  • Dollies, Hand Carts & Pallet Jacks
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; must pass MVR.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. 
  • Ability to lift/move heavy packages
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including holidays as needed.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
