Destination Smiles located in San Jose! We are seeking a career-minded individual that enjoys working with patients (especially children), a people person, and impeccable customer service skills to fill our Pediatric New Patient Coordinator position. Must possess excellent English verbal and written skills, computer savvy especially with Microsoft Outlook, be empathetic, detail oriented, a problem solver, and at least 1-year of front or back dental experience so you will be able to understand patient dental needs.

Compensation starting @ $28/hr.

Position Hours: (5 DAYS/WEEK)

Monday 7:45am-5:00pm

Tuesday 7:45am-5:00pm

Wednesday 7:45am-5:00pm

Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm

Friday 7:45am-5:00pm

The following are required for this position:

  • 1 years front dental office (front or back) experience.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Outlook
  • Have exceptional customer service skills.
  • Computer literate
  • Not shy and be a people person.
  • Detail Oriented
  • Organized and an initiative-taker.
  • Empathetic towards all patient needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Work independently but also well with a team.
  • Dentrix knowledge is highly preferred but willing to train.
  • Able to multitask, adaptable, and accountable.
  • A quick learner.
  • Excellent steady past work history with verifiable work references.
  • A problem solver
  • Must be honest, loyal, respectful, and trustworthy.
  • Consistent professionalism when communicating with patients, parents, and staff.
  • Personality traits: bubbly, outgoing, kind, genuine, professional

New Patient Coordinator duties include, but are not limited to:

· Build relationships with our patients (Most important role!)

· Setting up new patient accounts

· Make patients feel welcome from start to finish

· Providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues raised by patients

· Adhering to all rules in the employee handbook

· Additional duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
