Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the management of the dietary department in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- Supervising and training dietary staff members
- Conducting patient assessments to determine nutritional needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Providing health coaching and education to patients on proper nutrition and dietary guidelines
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and making necessary adjustments to care plans
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participating in budgeting and inventory management for the dietary department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field preferred but not required
- Previous experience working in a dietary or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
