Job Highlights:

• Salary range: $60,000 - $127,000 
• Schedule: 8 hour shift or 10 hour shift 

This position requires a Physician Assistant with an understanding of medical terminology and an extensive knowledge of men's and women's health. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing physical exams, administering immunizations and advising patients on preventative care. Individuals interested in this position must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida, have an understanding of basic medical concepts and have strong interpersonal skills.

• Maintain physical health during examinations and treatments.
• Create a rapport with patients and their families.
• Diagnose patients using history and physical examination.
• Listen to the patient's complaints, determine possible causes, and identify tests or treatments for resolution of the problem.
• Educate patients about their conditions and treatments; discuss diet, exercise, and stress management techniques to complement medical treatment.
• Establish treatment goals with the patient and follow up for progress.
• Make recommendations for genetic counseling or other care to family members.
