Position Overview

Oversees the custodial and sanitation at the Designs For Health Facility in Montana including: manufacturing areas and equipment, building, grounds, front offices, warehouse. Also supervises the Custodial personnel.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Ensures and follows GMP standards, SOP’s, Food Safety Standards as well as workplace safety standards.
• Supervises Custodial processes and personnel.
• Responsible for cleaning of all facilities including rooms, offices, grounds.
• Oversees maintaining monthly, weekly, and daily custodial logs.
• Follows and ensures Custodial staff follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Cleans and maintains assigned work areas
• Ensures proper supplying and storage and labeling of all sanitizers.
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalentHigh School diploma or GED plus 5 years in food manufacturing environment
• At least two years of facility sanitation experience
• At least one year of Leadworker experience
• Knowledge of use of sanitizers in the food industry
  • Knowledgeable and trained on housekeeping, sanitation and pest control procedures per 21 CFR 111.15
•  Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable

Competencies

• Written and verbal communication
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. occasionally 
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, pivot, reach, and walk for 8-10 hours daily.
• Attention to detail.
