Design Within Reach is currently looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our Outlet Studio! In this role, you will oversee the direction and coordination of receiving, distribution and warehousing operations. You will report to the Studio General Manager. What you’ll do: You'll have opportunities to design, achieve and build relationships every day as you... Create, implement and enforce the warehouse’s operational procedures as it relates to the receiving, handling, and storing of products Partner with the Proprietor to coordinate warehouse activities with regards to studio sales environment Assist studio staff with customer sales generation and loss prevention initiatives You will manage warehouse management responsibilities but will also have close ties to retail studio and sales staff, ensuring that team sales goals are met. Develop warehouse safety and security programs and loss prevention procedures Oversee the activities of warehouse employees while maintaining a safe and clean warehouse Maintain inventory integrity by adjusting stock against daily sales reports, and investigating and correcting any errors; as well as conducting regular cycle counts of the warehouse and showroom locations Encourage a seamless customer experience including furniture repair efforts and customer pick-ups Maintain physical condition of warehouse and equipment by conducting regular inspections and conducting appropriate follow up Manage warehouse staff through recruitment, training and development of employees Foster an environment based on respect, safety and customer satisfaction Does this sound like you? This might be you if you have the following skills and abilities... 3-5 years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment Excellent planning and delegation skills Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse related machinery Ability to assemble and make minor repairs to products received by the warehouse Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays Ability to lift 35-50lbs items regularly Familiarity with MS Word as well as inventory/sales database systems Who We Hire?
