DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

From installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, lighting, motors, and low voltage systems to managing tasks assigned by your supervisor or the owner, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities.

Working under the guidance of your supervisor, you will review material needs and tool requirements for each project, ensuring you have everything necessary to complete the job efficiently.

It will be crucial to maintain a clean work area and account for all tools and materials, while also mentoring and guiding any helpers or apprentices you are working with.

At Design Electrical Inc, we prioritize safety and professionalism. You will be expected to show up early, fully prepared for each shift, wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the specific task at hand.

Additionally, you will take responsibility for informing your supervisor of any material or tool issues, as well as promptly addressing customer concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the work performed.

Continuous improvement is highly encouraged in our company culture. You will have opportunities to participate in professional development programs such as our Mentorship Program and attend job site briefings, orientations, and safety meetings.

Taking part in code update classes required for license renewal is also a key aspect of this role.

This is what we're looking for :

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Experience assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems, equipment, appliances, etc.
  • Current electrical license or actively receiving comparable on-the-job training or attending an apprenticeship program to obtain licensure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
